Behind it all...

Hello, and welcome! My name is Javier, and I am a passionate amateur photographer with over four years of experience capturing moments and stories through my lens. Photography has been an incredible journey of creativity and exploration for me, and I’m thrilled to now share my work in physical form. Each image represents a piece of my artistic vision, and I hope you find something here that resonates with you. Thank you for visiting my store and supporting my passion for photography!

The tools

My first camera was a Lumix GX-85. Unique in its abilities and a very capable camera. I highly recommend it if you wish to dip your pinky toe into the world of photography. I also use a Sony A7II with vintage, manual-focus lenses. This camera, although being generations behind, satisfies my expectations of a full-frame camera. But, my passion has been and continues to be propelled by my first film camera — a Konica Autoreflex T. This 35mm film camera, hefty in its build, provides an experience like no other in this field. Konica's solid engineering produced not only excellent cameras but excellent lenses as well. Nearly 60 years old and this hunk of metal is still kicking butt. I can't say much more other than 'salut' to Konica.

The work

What you see on this site represents the best of my work—my favorites among favorites. Some pieces were captured with digital cameras, but most owe their charm to the timeless reliability of my trusty Konica.

After four years immersed in photography, I have yet to settle on a single, distinct style. While I recognize the benefits of a cohesive artistic identity, my approach celebrates the joy of experimentation. I find immense satisfaction in exploring diverse techniques, formats, and perspectives to bring my frames and other work to life.

I hope you find something here that speaks to you. Thank you for taking the time to explore my work—I deeply appreciate your visit!
